STEP 1:
1) Shut off the feed water valve.
2) Turn off the ball valve on top of the water storage tank.
3) Open the RO faucet, let water flow freely.
STEP 2:
1) Changing the first three filters:
- Remove the pre-filter and post-filter cartridges from the thread using the wrench (Wrench comes free with purchase of filters).
- Replace them with your newly purchased filters. After that, put the cartridges back on.
2) Changing the membrane:
- Unplug the tubes from the cartridge. (Disconnection of tubes is simple, push collet against body, then side tube out of fitting.) Remove the cap off the thread.
- Replace the membrane, and ensure it’s pushed all the way to the end.
- Plug the cap back on, reconnect the tubes.
3) Changing the post-carbon filter:
- Unplug the tubes on both side of the filter.
- Replace the unit. The water-flow arrow should be following the direction of water flow.
- Reconnect all tubes.
STEP 3:
1) Close the RO faucet.
2) Turn the tank ball valve on.
3) Open feed water valve.
• Check system for leaks, tighten as necessary.
• A maintenance record should be kept for the RO system.
